(Matthew 21: 1-9)
when they drew nigh unto Jerusalem,
and were come to Bethphage, unto the mount of Olives, then sent Jesus two
disciples, Saying unto
them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an
ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me. And if any man say ought unto you, ye
shall say, The Lord hath need of them; and straightway he will send them. All this was done, that it might be
fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold,
thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal
of an ass. And the
disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them, And brought the ass, and the colt, and
put on them their clothes, and they set him thereon. And a very great multitude
spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and
strawed them in the way. And
the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to
the son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in
the highest.(Matthew 21: 1-9)
The word
Hosanna is a Hebrew word for “save me,” and expresses joy and victory. In the Old Testament, the Israelites
cried out and praised God, who gave victory, "Jehovah, Hosanna"
(Psalm 118: 25), "Blessed be the Lord, who comes in the name of the
Lord" (Psalm 118: 26). These verses were celebrated on the feasts of
Passover, Pentecost, and Feast of Tabernacles, and they waved with palm
branches. When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the people repeated Jesus' psalm verse
(118: 25-26), laying branches on the road and welcoming Jesus.
Jesus' name
on earth is Jehovah God in the kingdom of God. Those who are in Christ can call
Jehovah God the Father. No one can be called Heavenly Father. Only those who
repent and are born again of water and holy spirit can call on the name of
Jesus. Calling on Jesus' name is the same as calling on Heavenly Father.
Romans 10:13 『For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. 』Here," call "is the Greek word for" Epicaleomai.
" Ananias said in Acts 22:16 when the Apostle Paul was baptized.“Now why are you hesitating? Get up and call on the name of the Lord
to be baptized and wash away your sins.” And Romans 10:
9-10
『That if thou shalt confess
with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath
raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto
righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 』 Anyone who goes to church knows this.
In 2 Timothy
2:19『Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The
Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ
depart from iniquity. 』 Here the Lord's name is the name of Christ. Here, the word “call” is the Greek word for “Onoma,” which means “Jesus”. The word “Epicaleomai” means “Jesus” as
the surname of Jesus. It means that the son call the father. However, most
church people call him a father without being a son.
Many church
people today call Jesus the Lord, even though they are not a family of Jesus.
They believe they were born again without being born again. If you don't repent
and live a life of denying yourself, you are not born again. Saying "I
believe" is not saved, but born again. If you are not born again, on the
last day, Jesus is saying, "I don't know you." The key to born again
is that the od man dies. Then you will be washed.
In Romans 6:
7, 『For he that is dead is freed from sin. So, there is a
close relationship between gaining righteousness through faith and being born
again with water and the Holy Spirit. Old man die in the wilderness.
Likewise, we
must die on the cross with Jesus. Only by being united with the dead Jesus, you
can be saved from God. To unite with the dead Jesus is to eat the bread (Jesus'
body) before drinking the cup in the sacrament. It becomes one with the dead
lamb. Tell them not to eat raw, not to boil and to eat, to roast. It was said
to burn the remainder.
Today, we
must escape from the false gospel like the indulgences. And you have to tell.
It must be given in the words of Deuteronomy 30 and Romans 6, 10. If you cannot
escape the false gospel, Jesus will say, "I don't know you, who are
you?" These are those who admit by mouth but deny by action.
In Matthew 7,
『Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we
not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy
name done many wonderful works? 』. Jesus would say
"And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye
that work iniquity".
