Matthew 10:24-31

(Matthew 10:24-31)

『The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.  It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?  Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.  What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.  And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.  Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.  But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.  Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.』

This is what Jesus told the 12 disciples. God saves those who repent. The Pharaoh king of Egypt ordered the midwives to kill the newborn child.『Those who do not fear God do not repent. But the midwives feared God, and did not as the king of Egypt commanded them, but saved the men children alive.』(Exodus 1:17) It is not courage to keep God's word, but obedience to God's commands.

『And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.』 (Revelation 13:14)

God said, "make no image." The image is an icon of the computer. 『And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.』(Revelation 13: 16-17) However, the Bible said, "Only those who are written in the Lamb's book of life overcome Satan." Only those who enter into Jesus Christ can be saved from God.

Today, the church speaks so easily about salvation. Salvation from God is not easy. The human mind is a very evil being. Man cannot heal the evil heart for himself. So God gives grace to those who realize this. God gives birth to the inner man again to those who are united with Jesus who died on the cross.

『Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.』 (Romans 6: 3-4)

『Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.』 (Matthew 7:21) Heavenly Father's will is as follows: Sinners must die with Jesus on the cross. Otherwise God will pour out the wrath of sinners on fire.

It is not the flesh that dies on the cross with Jesus, but the wicked soul (greedy, old man). The evil soul dies and is reborn as a new man. It's like replacing your computer's hard disk. God makes the repentant new. The repentant are those who "know that they are evil." Thus, to God, the wicked are dead like Jesus. Jesus said that he could not enter the kingdom of God unless he denied himself. If you confess that you believe in Jesus, but do not fear God, you will still be in wickedness.

Matthew 2:12-15
