Matthew 9: 27-31

See that no man know it.

And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, Thou son of David, have mercy on us. And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord. Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you. And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, See that no man know it. But they, when they were departed, spread abroad his fame in all that country. (Matthew 9: 27-31)

Two poor blind men followed Jesus and screamed because they heard rumors that Jesus was healing the sick. "Dear descendants of David, have pity on us." It is to say that it is the Messiah to call it a descendant of David. However, even though Jesus heard their cry, Jesus just went into the house. Nevertheless, they came to the house.

Jesus said to them, "Do you believe I can do this?" They answered, "Lord, I believe." Then Jesus touched their eyes and told them to be according to your faith, and the eyes were brightened.

Here, too, many people say, "It will be done according to your beliefs." Faith in healing does not directly lead to faith in salvation. Faith must come from God. This is God's gift to the repentant. Without repentance, you can come and receive the healing of the disease by simply coming to the faith to cure it, but it is not considered to be directly related to salvation. Salvation is a gift of faith to those who repent of God.

When Jesus said, "Do it according to your faith," their eyes opened. However, Jesus strictly warned. "Don't tell anyone," he said. But they went out and spread Jesus' rumors all over the world. Why did Jesus first tell them not to tell them that they had been healed? The reason is the fulfillment of the prophet Isaiah.

As Isaiah 42: 7 prophesies, the eyes of the blind are opened, and the prisoners are brought out of prison, and those who are sitting in darkness are released from prison. It's not just about opening a physical blindness or freeing it from prison.
Jesus opened the blind man's eyes to give spiritual freedom to "those who are caught in evil." God opens spiritual eyes to those who repent and come into Jesus Christ. This is faith.
