Matthew 1:18-20

(Matthew 1:18-20)

Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.  Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily.  But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
Mary is engaged to Joseph. At that time, engagement was like marriage, so it was legally binding. In other words, the engagement was a de facto married state that could never be broken apart from adultery. For this reason, Joseph and Mary were introduced in the text as husband Joseph and wife Mary. The engagement period was about one year. If the husband dies during that period, the wife becomes a widow. It is because they were married even if they did not live together. Therefore, if he committed fraud during the period, he could be regarded as adultery and punished for death. This is because there is a law in Deuteronomy that a woman must be stoned if she commits wrongdoing.

Being conceived and born of the Holy Spirit is a creation different from the human creation described in Genesis 1. In Genesis 2:7, And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Adam was born like this. However, Eve  was born differently.

And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. (Genesis 2:21-22) Eve was born through Adam. Likewise, those who are born again are born again because of Jesus Christ. Those who are born again cannot be born again without Jesus, the first fruit of the resurrection. So Adam is a symbol of Christ. Originally, Adam and Eve were one. Similarly, there was one Christ and the "spirit trapped in man apart from Christ." So in Genesis 2:24

Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. Paul used the parable of the relationship between Christ and the Church as a marital relationship. The rebirth of man is one with the risen Christ. It can be done by the power of the Holy Spirit. Only those who believe in the power of the Holy Spirit can be conceived by the Holy Spirit.

It can be said that Jesus' birth by the Holy Spirit is the preliminary stage of the body's death and resurrection. It can be said that Jesus is the body that gave God's power to the human body. He was born in the form of a sinner, but he performed numerous miracles and showed amazing powers. Jesus had the same physical body as the others. However, when Jesus died and was resurrected, he became a spiritual body, not a physical body. Jesus appeared suddenly after the resurrection, and also appeared through the wall.
