Matthew 6: 25-34

 (Matthew 6: 25-34)

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?  Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:  And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.  Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?  Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

People in the world look for the material of this world. The Bible says, "God knows all the needs of those who are in Christ." seek ye first the kingdom of God What is the kingdom of God?

To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God: (Acts 1: 3)

The resurrected Jesus spoke about the work of the kingdom of God for 40 days. And Paul dwelt two whole years in his own hired house, and received all that came in unto him, Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him. (Acts 28: 30-31) The first and last chapters of Acts refer to the kingdom of God. The apostles preached the kingdom of God before Jesus Christ. But nothing is said about the kingdom of God.

And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. (Mark 1:15) The disciples are not speaking of Christ first, but the kingdom of God. Today, pastors in the Church say, "Believe in Jesus, he is the Son of God, who died on the cross and is resurrected." If you believe in Jesus, you will go to heaven. This is not enough.

If the church does not preach repentance first, it is not the gospel. The gospel is repentance. For all creatures have sinned against God. Evil angels have sinned against God, the first humans have sinned against God, and we are sinful against God. Why did you sin against God? All who have not obeyed the word of God are sinners against God. If you do not repent, when the body dies, the Spirit enters into eternal torment. So repentance is turning to the Word of God. Before God created the world, Satan was cast out of sin in God's kingdom. He seduced other angels into sin, and he seduces sin into humans. He lies not to believe in God. He deceives that there is no God. But you are saved only by believing what the Bible says.

The kingdom of God is a spiritual world, but it is also here on earth. Where is this land? That is where Jesus Christ is. Jesus Christ on the cross is the gateway to the kingdom of God. Those who are not united with Jesus on the cross cannot enter the kingdom of God. Thus, we can say that those who are united with Jesus on this earth have entered the kingdom of God. The body is on earth, but the spirit in it has already entered the kingdom of God.

The kingdom of God is the home of the spirit of man. But because humans have sinned in this world, they cannot return unless they cross the cross. The kingdom of God is a kingdom of spirits. God is spirit, and spirit in man is spirit. The spirit must be in the kingdom of God. However, the spirit is trapped in the body. The spirit is trapped because of sin in the kingdom of God. So the day the body dies, the spirit must come out of the body and return to the kingdom of God. But if you forget God in this world, you cannot return to his kingdom. So the Bible tells us to repent. The Bible says that all human beings are in sin. The Bible says that all human beings are servants of Satan. So the Bible tells us to get out of darkness. Darkness means Satan's servant. The way out of darkness is united with the dead Jesus on the cross.

Even if you have been in church for a long time, you will not be saved unless you repent. Anyone who realizes that he is in the dark can repent. Thus, the repentant knows the meaning of Jesus' death. Jesus died for sinful human beings. The sinner is dead Jesus. If you do not recognize the same dead Jesus, you have not repented. Jesus died for a sinner, but that dead Jesus is a sinner. So when the sin is gone, the kingdom of God comes. It is explained in Romans (6: 4-6).

Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
