Matthew 7: 13-20

(Matthew 7: 13-20)

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:  Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.  Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Jesus speaks to those who seek God in Matthew 7: 13-14. He said that there are two ways for the one who seeks God, the wide way and the strait gate. The door leading to life is a strait, and there are few who seek it. When we look at the whole Bible, it means that the path that many people go to is not the way to life. This is because it is related to repentance. In Luke 13: 23-24,
Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them,  Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. It is the same as Matthew's Gospel. Many people believe that they are saved because they believe in Jesus. But it can be a false belief. The faith I believe is far from salvation. Faith is a revelation and gift from the Lord to those who repent. So, the Apostle Paul says in the Galatians, "He who is preaching another gospel is cursed." Most churches in this era are trying to make unrepentant humans come to church. This means that not everyone who is going to church is saved.

The strait door is Jesus Christ. Entering Jesus Christ is entering the strait door. Jesus said to the Pharisees, "You must discover Christ through the law, but you cannot find, does not allow others to enter. Christ is hidden in the law.

It is said that people cannot be saved through the law and discover Christ through the law. So the strait gate is to find Christ in the law. The legalists did not realize Jesus Christ, but rather executed Jesus Christ on the cross.

People say that they believe in Jesus Christ, but all who think legally and live in the law will not be saved. Because it's like not believing what Jesus did. Jesus said, "When the Son of Man comes, will he believe it?" These words are those that are bound by the law and are not able to understand and accept the truth of Christ.

Luke 13:25 says When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: It is synonymous with the Bible verse in Matthew 7:21. This means that not all people are saved by doing the things of faith. There must be a repentance that realizes that I am bound to die and die with Jesus. Repentance is not about the sins of the world, but the repentance of the old man who made the world sins because the old man wants to be like God.

Repentance is to realize that "I have no choice but to die from God." God will forgive the worldly sins of those who truly repent. Those who have not repented are not born again, and Jesus said, "I do not know you." This tells us that it is "the one who is not born again." Those who are born again are born from above. In 1 John 3: 9, it is said that those born from above are those who can enter the kingdom of God and are innocent.

Anyone born of the land or by the flesh can never be saved. Anyone born from above cannot be born as a person's will. It's not a matter of effort, it's a question of where you came from. The book of Galatians explains Ishmael and Isaac. It is to tell where the source of life is. It's not what Ishmael did or what Isaac did, but the "who gave birth" is important.

Only by being born of God can you be saved. How do you know? Those who are born again are not asking for the things of the world, but asking for the things of God. Luke 12:31 says, But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you. The Lord's kingdom is not given to the crowd, but to the little one. In Luke 12:32, Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Church people want to go to the kingdom of God. But God wants the kingdom of God to be done on this earth. It is so different. People believe in Jesus to be heaven. However, the place where Jesus is heaven. It is wrong to pursue Heaven without seeking Jesus. Salvation means that only "living for Jesus" is salvation.
