Matthew 7:24-29

(Matthew 7:24-29)

Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:  And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.  And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:  And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.  And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:  For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

Therefore is connected to what Jesus said through the previous story. In the previous words, "People said that they were acting as prophets and expelling ghosts according to the word of the Lord. But Jesus said, Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. , Matthew 7:24-29.

He who does what the Father wants is wise. The Father's will is to see and believe in the Son. The Son is Jesus Christ. Believing means being one. It becomes one with Jesus Christ who died on the cross. Those who become one with Jesus are not doing anything themselves. It is only to die with Jesus on the cross.

The Pharisees declared their righteousness. They think they can achieve righteousness by keeping the law. The Pharisees think that what they do according to Heavenly Father's will is, "Lord, Lord, I have to do something to play the prophets and play the ghosts."

Throughout this parable, many church people today think that only through believing in Jesus Christ, we are saved. However, they think so, but they have to repent every day to understand that they are saved.
They are saved only when they give up their will in front of the cross,
they think they have to do something to be saved. Jesus said to deny himself.

Most church people today misunderstand sin. Think of sin as sin in the world. Sin is a sin that has left the kingdom of God. So turning around and turning is repentance. However, they confess and reflect on sins every day as repentance. So, they repent of their sins every day, but they are not repentant to God.

The repentance is to turn away from greed (the old man) that "it can be like God." So the Bible (Romans 6:6-7) says that the old man must die. Most people in the church think, "A person repents on his own, and becomes cleansed and sanctified through the blood of Jesus." However, it becomes holy only when the old man dies.

What God wants is to die, as in Romans 6:6-7. Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin. "If you don't die, the sin remains the same. If sin remains, you cannot enter the kingdom of God.

Why did Jesus tell you to deny yourself? Spirits who have sinned in the kingdom of God have been deceived by Satan and want to become like God, so they have resisted God and left the kingdom of God. To be like God without God is the root of evil. This evil appears as the original sin as greed (old man) hidden in human beings. So the Bible says that old man die. The old man is the old snake and the body of sin. For as long as there is a body of sin, it is a slave of sin and a servant of Satan. So if the old man doesn't die, he tells me that he still hasn't repented.
