Matthew 8: 14-17

(Matthew 8: 14-17)

And when Jesus was come into Peter's house, he saw his wife's mother laid, and sick of a fever. And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them. When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.

Humans get sick because they have a body. The Bible tells us that through physical illness, "Ye are all those who have left God." Those who have left God are demons and sick. It is Jesus Christ who can heal these sick ones because they cannot be reconciled to God except Jesus Christ. "Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses". To be sick is to have no heavenly life. To have heavenly life, we must be united with Jesus Christ.

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. (Isaiah 53: 5)

And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins (Ephesians 2:14) Transgressions mean world sin, and sins means original sin.

It is expressed here as sins. Original sin has physical original sin and spiritual original sin. The sin that comes down from Adam is called physical original sin, and it is spiritual original sin that tried to leave God, thinking that the spirits could be like God in God's kingdom. So, having a body means being apart from God. Those who have flesh become sick by their flesh. Thus, because the relationship with God is broken, the spirit is dead. The sick in Matthew (8:14-17) tell us that through physical sickness, all human beings with flesh are those who have left God.

All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.(Isaiah 53: 6) In God's kingdom, the spirits have forsaken God's will and wanted to leave God. This original sin is the burden of Jesus Christ. The spirits fell to Satan's deception. In the Garden of Eden, she fell to Satan's temptation to be like God, violated God's command, and was removed from the Garden of Eden."Each went on their way"

It is not the original sin that came down from Adam, but the sins of each of the spirits who left God in the kingdom of God. Spiritual original sin is the sin each of the spirits committed.

Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come. (Romans 5:14)

But the original sin in the Garden of Eden is the original sin from Adam. The Israelites tried to find many signs. Jesus showed many miracles, and people tried to see him as a king who works many miracles. Jesus escaped the place. However, people came back to Jesus. So Jesus said, "You came to me not because you saw a sign, but because you eat and fill." Jesus said to them, "Do not work for food that is rotting, but for food that has eternal life."So, people asked Jesus, "How do I do God's work?" Jesus said that it is God's work to believe in those whom God has sent.

They said therefore unto him, What sign shewest thou then, that we may see, and believe thee? what dost thou work?(John 6:30) Israel is God's chosen people. Jesus came into this world as a lineage among the nation of Israel. However, Jesus sees Israel and says that they are a wicked and obscene generation. He even said, "You are born to your father the devil." God showed many miracles for 40 years until Israel came out of Egypt and entered Canaan. But the people say they tested God in the wilderness.

When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years.(Hebrews 3: 9)

Have ye offered unto me sacrifices and offerings in the wilderness forty years, O house of Israel? (Amos 5:25) Says that God has never been sacrificed. That is why Jesus is telling Israel that he is an evil and obscene generation. Not only Israel, but all nations.

The Israelites said in John 6:31Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat.In John 6:32Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven.People always ask us for bread.

Jesus says in 6:35.And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

Jesus said, "You do not believe me." Says in John 6:37. All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. What is the will of God? The people of the church speak the will of God as they think. God's will is to save the spirit that was died because of the Son. Jesus is the living bread, which saves the spirit.

Even Jesus says in John 6:53.Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.To eat flesh and drink blood is to be one with Jesus. To believe in the Son is to be one with the Son. To be one with Jesus is as follows: "Jesus Christ died for me, and I die with Jesus who died on the cross. Unless I die together, I cannot be one with Jesus on the cross. The reason why people are not one with Jesus is that they keep the law and try to be righteous, because they are masters. They are under the law.

Jesus' miracles on earth are physical in sight, but spiritually there are things God says to humans. All human beings are those who have left God. Thus, the Bible tells us that "you are sinners who have left God and are sick." You can't heal without Jesus Christ. If we do not look to "Jesus who heals physical disease, and Jesus who saves the spirit," we cannot realize the meaning of God's Word.

Bible says in John 6:63.It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
